Key people

HoHR could not operate without our Romanian volunteers who oversee day-to-day activities.

Solomon heads up the team, with his daughter Rodica. Solomon’s wife, also called Rodica, helps out where necessary. This family are part of the Roma Community in Jibou, are well-known and respected and therefore ideally placed to help us know where to best use resources. Their support is vital.

Lacry is a volunteer worker who assists with food-parcels for Romanian families in Jibou.

Our volunteers have all had the Romanian equivalent of UK Criminal Record Checks in accordance with our Child Protection Policy which is in the process of being implemented.
