Health

Many Romanian people cannot afford to have treatment for simple medical conditions. HoH liaises closely with Social Workers to identify those who are in most need, and provides financial assistance with the costs of medical treatment and prescription charges.

Help with travel to medical appointment is also given, as these costs sometimes prevent people from obtaining the treatment that they require.

On an occassional basis, HoH can also provide financial assistance to enhance a family's living conditions, such as improving the water supply to their home, or fixing a leaking roof.
